São Paulo será o palco da AppCircus, a maior competição global de apps

Após o grande sucesso das edições anteriores, São Paulo será novamente palco da Appcircus, a maior competição global de aplicativos móveis. O evento é organizado pela Innoveur e acontece no dia 23 de Agosto, ao final do IQ São Paulo, na Casa Petra, em São Paulo e o prazo para se submeter os aplicativos é 08 de Agosto.

Aplicativos para todas as plataformas podem se inscrever, desde que estejam ao menos em fase de protótipo funcional. Os 10 melhores aplicativos inscritos serão selecionadas por um júri internacional online e serão apresentadas no palco do evento para todos os participantes e o júri local de especialistas. O vencedor  ganhará uma nomeação para o Mobile Premier Awards, que acontecerá durante a Mobile World Congress 2013, em Barcelona.

On June 12, Mozilla is promoting a seminar to deep dive on HTML5 apps and the handset integration, co-hosted by Qualcomm, Softex and Telefonica.

On June 13, Dees, Mozilla's Firestarter is looking forward to meet up all the brightest local devs in a happy hour at Boteco São Bento.

MWC2102 - Explosion of data traffic, consumer experience and Vodafone/Visa’s m-payment solution open the congress

Despite the economy crises, Anne Bouverot, General Director of GSMA, opened the congress emphasizing the growth of the conference. The carrier’s main executives have talked about the data traffic explosion in mobile, the needs of infrastructure improvements and partnerships to enhance the consumer experience. Victorio Colao, Chief Excutive of Vodafone, has announced the Vodafone/Visa partnership for a new mobile payments solution.
