InnovaBRICS launching on Sep 5 (London)

We are very proud to announce that InnovaBRICS is coming soon! The event will take place in London (BAFTA 195 Piccadilly) on September 5th and is one of the projects that Innoveur has been partnering along 2012.

InnovaBRICS is a London-based event that will convene thought leaders from the five countries and beyond, with the objective of discussing innovation drivers and challenges, socio-economic and political environment, and the entrepreneurship culture of these intriguing, relevant and often enigmatic countries.

With a thought-provoking conference agenda, its purpose will be to take BRICS and other large emerging markets to the center stage of one of the most international capitals of the world, fostering discussions on how they can become superpowers over the next decades.

The conference agenda will discuss the role of entrepreneurs, companies, individuals, governments, civil society and media in taking global emerging countries to the next level.

Goldman Sach’s Jim O’Neill (the creator of the term BRIC), right honorable Peter Hain, MP and the Brazilian Minister Counselor for Innovation are joining the keynote program with other leading figures, such as:

  • Stefan Wagstyl, Emerging Markets Editor, Financial Times
  • Marcelo Haddad, Executive Director, Rio Business: reporting into the Mayor of Rio, Marcelo heads the official investment promotion agency for the 2016 Summer Olympics host city Rio.
  • Marina Treshchova, CEO, Fast Lane Ventures:  Russia's No. 2 Venture Capital firm specialising in Internet Technology.
  • Niclas Ericson, Director, FIFA TV: Responsible for the Broadcast/Media agreements of FIFA World Cup South Africa (2010), Brazil (2014), Russia (2018) and Women World Cup China (2009).
  • Sergio Pessoa, Brasscom: Who Heads one of the most powerful Association of IT companies in Brazil. Sergio led the Brazilian commercial delegation at the World Economic Forum in Davos this year.
  • Yingni Lu, Ecoleap Ventures: Consulting for and investing in GreenTech companies interested in UK-China trade.
  • Jonne van Wijngaarden, Philips Healthcare: Will reveal the results of a survey on the Chinese consumer behaviour in preparation to a big product launch.

It is a not to be missed conference if you are interested in understand better and/or do business with those five promising countries.
