I CodeFest Campinas – Check the themes and Join it!

Throughout July & August 2011 will occur  the I CodeFest Campinas at Unicamp (FEEC, IC and Eldorado Institut). The teams will have 3 weeks to develop their projects with an online mentoring.

Each team will work on a specific theme, starting on July 18, 2011, when the  teams will have online access to additional information about the themes and the designated mentors. The themes were defined by the event’s sponsors as followed:

•  TV Applications (Telefônica)
• Combinatory Optimization & Image Search (Buscapé)
• Group Messaging (Motorola)
• Cities (Ci&T, Dextra, Ícaro, Matera, Movile)
• Collaboration (Ci&T, Dextra, Ícaro, Matera, Movile)

The event will have 125 attendees total and each team up to 5 members.

The early bird tickets start selling on June 22, 2011 and the enrollment deadline is on July 15, 2011. On August 4, 2011 the teams will deliver the project’s executive summary and the event’s official opening occurs on the next day. On the 6^th, additional tasks will be demanded and the execution will be followed up by the mentors to assess the team work skills of the attendees.

On August 7, 2011, the projects will be finalized and judged by a committee of entrepreneurs, executives and professors.

The event is an initiative of Núcleo Softex Campinas and Conpec, with the support of IC and FEEC.
