Startup Weekend Campinas will rock!

For the very first time, a Startup Weekend Campinas is going to happen on May 13 to 15, 2011 at Unicamp’s (University of Campinas) Electrical and Computer Engineering School (FEEC). The event was sold out about 20 days in advance and is bringing attendees from several cities among several Brazilian states. With rockstar panels and judges, Campinas session is already a success!

New Home, GOAP, Startup Weekend ...

We had so many things happening those last days ... but now we are definitely back! 

Firstly, you probably noticed that we are under a new home: http://www.innoveur.com.br/ and with a brand new design! We are looking forward to hear your thoughts!

On April 30, the GOAP  landed in São Paulo. Very nice events and chats with the geeks at Startuparty and Skye on Sunday night :) A very good chance to meet up with some of my SF Bay Area friends and meet a lot of new interesting people, involved with the entrepreneurial scene! 

So many talks about our ecosystem and everything is happening here ... This time we've just tried to bring the group to Campinas, but next time we're waiting for all you guys here with a very cool agenda :) 

On Saturday, some of our brightest entrepreneurs took part at Figueira Rubaiyat's lunch (César Gon - Ci&T, Fabricio Bloisi - Movile, John Lima - Coffee Bean Technology, Igor Santiago - I-Systems, Laerte Sabino - Icaro), besides Roberto Lotufo, director of Inova Unicamp.

On Sunday, Fabricio Bloisi and Cesar Gon talked about entrepreneurship in Brazil, the Campinas/Unicamp Ecosystem and IVP at BRNewTech Meetup. We are about to post some very nice news about the history and the last launches of their companies! It's totally worth wait for it!

Next weekend, the startup scene in Campinas will be on fire! On May 13 starts our very first Startup Weekend. It's already a success: the event was sold out about one month in advance and the panels are amazing! Wait for real news during the opening! You can follow up the event @StartupWeekCPS and watch the webcasting in our channel!

Congrats Campinas Startups (and Innoveur :) for the hard work and the great event you are organizing! It's going to accelerate even more our ecosystem!

Zeewe, the new HTML5 based mobile app store from Movile, has had great success since its launch in December. In less than 4 months, it already has 400,000 active users. Zeewe is also getting great feedback from developers, who are adopting HTML5 as a solution for developing mobile apps.
