Earlier this month, Coffee Bean Technology was recognized by Gartner as one of the “Cool Vendors in CRM Sales, 2011”. According to this publication, this year edition showcases technologies that facilitate daily sales activities using social, mobile and web-based tools to strengthen relationships with customers and prospects, improving the probability of closing more deals, faster.
The Unicamp’s Innovation Agency opened the registrations for the Campinas Inova 2011 (Innovate Campinas 2011) event. This session will occur on 15 June, 2011 at Ciesp Campinas and will present a fully renewed format. Using a hands-on approach, the attendees will learn how to build a (tech) business model.
In 2007, without an own car, Guilherme Souza and Matheus Marosti both Computer Engineer undergrad students at Unicamp were a little bit tired of having to always search among other students or in the University’s murals or lampposts for a ride to São Paulo, where their families live. This real and personal problem was the inspiration of the startup Unicaronas (something like Unirides).
So, they decided to start a web platform where people needing a ride and people needing to reduce their travel expenses could connect and help each other.
